Match Report
Truro School Boys-U15A vs  County sevens
On: Tuesday, 02 Apr 2019
Venue: Away

In conditions that were more like winter than spring, Truro competed well and produce some stunning rugby at times. In a competitive group, Truro started well against Penair, winning comfprtably. Next up were one of the favourites, Redruth. Guilty of giving them too much respect, Truro went in 2 scores down at half time. After a half time discussion, Truro realised that an upset was possible and really took the game to Redruth. After scoring the try of the tournament, Truro went down by 1 score. Next up, we played Tretherras. This was the most disappointing game of the tournament as Truro went away from their all court team game. Losing narrowly 12-10, second place in the group was lost. The boys dusted themselves down and came back against a strong Penryn B team, winning again comfortably in what was our best game.

All the boys performed well and the behaviour was great. A lot learn from the tournament and Truro should be pleased with the quality of 7's rugby they played. I feel this team will do some very nice things next year.
