Match Report
Truro School Girls-U13 vs  Helston Community College
On: Thursday, 28 Feb 2019
Venue: at Home

With various other commitments for the U13 girls this week and a number of the girls subsequently unavailable to play we called on two if the U12's for support. Ellie and Gwen were superb and we thank them for stepping in at short notice. The game started very evenly with the girls settling in to new positions and new team mates. Whilst the game was only a short fifteen minutes one way the girls grew in confidence with each passing minute and quickly got into their stride. Captain Tara worked hard up front and gave the girls the structure moving forwards and I was pleased to see the girls thinking about holding their positions and playing the ball into space. Once the goals started coming they didn't stop and the 5-0 score line was much deserved. Melissa played a pivotal role in the centre of the pitch and Amelia and Issy were strong in defence, keeping the ball away from goa keeper Lucy who remained untroubled! A great win and a U13's are in action again on Thursday!
