Match Report
Truro School Girls 1st XI vs  Richard Huish College
On: Wednesday, 23 Jan 2019
Venue: at Home

The girls prepared with a well organised and intense warm up, ready for the games ahead. With Truro College pulling out of the fixture against us on the day, we played a longer game against Huish. The first five minutes was neck and neck, it was all very frantic, but the game was completely end to end stuff. The following 10 minutes, Huish found there formation and held there positioning well, they had a number of quick breaks catching us off guard and took there chances, 2 goals in 5 minutes. With 10 minutes to go Truro School came to light, having the majority of the possession they were starting to run rings around Huish but failed to get the shots away in the 'D'. The second half began and the girls were determined to get a result. They battled hard but unfortunately Richard Huish pushed even harder and got another well worked goal in the net! Our girls fought back and with a lovely passage of play down the right and then edged back into the 'p' spot, it was calmy finished. The game ended 3-1, it was a good performance by our girls!
