Match Report
Truro School Girls-U13B vs  Penryn College
On: Tuesday, 13 Nov 2018
Venue: Away

With 10 teams entered in the festival the teams were split into 2 equal groups. We were drawn into Pool B against Richard Lander, Penryn Panthers, Redruth and Falmouth. With the first two games of it meant we could have a good warm up and be prepared for who we were going to come up against, we watched the first couple of games picking out the key players on the teams so we knew who we had to keep the ball away from. We played our first game against Falmouth, losing by one goal, with a game off and refuelled we had our next 3 games back to back. We beat Richard Lander 5-0, Redruth 5-0 and going into our final game we had to win by at least 5 goals to progress. We played Penryn in our last game beating them 5-1 however we had only had a goal difference of 4 which meant we missed out by one goal progressing to the semi-final. It was a shame and the girls felt deflated but really enjoyed the day overall, it was a fantastic team effort and i was extremely pleased and proud of the attitude and positivity shown throughout to all players and other schools. Well Done Girls!
